4/90 - 1/95 International Paper, Riverdale Mill, Selma, AL
Area Operations Manager - Production, Scheduling, and Distribution. Had nine direct reports which supervised approximately 130 production personnel. Responsible for converting production, paper machine scheduling, warehousing (on-site and off-site), customer service, transportation, and was one of five statistical quality control coordinators in the mill.

6/87 - 4/90 International Paper, Process Technology, Mobile, AL
Senior Project Engineer. Served on an team of seven operations specialists who were responsible for preparing feasibility studies and preliminary designs for projects over $5 million in the 19 U.S. primary manufacturing mills.

5/85 - 9/85 Dorsey Trailers, Elba, AL
Industrial Engineer. Performed line balancing studies and implemented a new production process in the fabrication and assembly departments. (This was a temporary position held between my undergraduate and graduate school.)

Born August 2, 1962 in Enterprise, Alabama. Graduated from Elba High School in 1980. Married the former Julie Ann Maulden of Elba, Alabama in 1986. Three sons, Clayton Moates Clark, born November 17, 1989, and twins Griffin Thomas Clark and Joshua Denson Clark, born July 1, 1992.
