Undergraduate and high school workers are trained in as many areas as possible so that they may assist in multiple areas of research such as pathology, entomology, histology, molecular genetics, and chemical ecology just to name a few. Laboratory workers assigned to the Forest Health Dynamics Laboratory work between their classes to assist with many laboratory, greenhouse and field duties, as well as, assisting graduate students and post-doctoral staff that work in the Lab.
