- Grade: Grade = attendance (10%) + chapter tests (60%) + final (30%).

- Attendance: Class attendance will be checked
occationally.
Students with perfect attendance record will earn 2 bonus points.
- Homework: Homework questions will be selected from the odd number exercises in the textbook.
The answers of these questions could be checked at the end of the textbook.
- Chapter Test: There are 5 chapter tests for Chapters 1-5. A chapter test will be given right after the chapter is completed.
Chapter test questions are selected from homework questions. It is required to write down the completed
processes. Answers without processes would result in few partial credits.
If N tests are missed without being made up, each grade of the missing tests will be (the lowest chapter test grade)/N.
- Final: The final exam is comprehensive. The exam questions will be selected from the even number
exercises in the textbook.
- Makeup: Makeups are permitted only in case a legitimate excuse is presented.
