Batch Job Documentation System
Miscellaneous Topics/Access Restrictions
Application Code Restrictions
Access to the Batch Job Documentation System is controlled
under AIMS by use of an Application Code
(ACD) called DOC. The
DOC ACD may take on the following values:
- 1 - View Access (default)
- 2 - Production Control Access (limited update/doc import)
- 3 - Programmer Access (entry/update/transfer)
To print documentation, only view access is required. The various
applications in the system have the following minimum ACD required for
update access:
- DJM - Menu (no updating from this application)
- DJA - Job Selection (no updating from this application)
- DJS - Job Setup (ACD=3)
- DJZ - Scheduling (ACD=2)
- DJF - Dataset Modifications (ACD=2)
- DJP - Input Parameters (ACD=3)
- DJR - Restart/Recovery (ACD=2)
- DJC - Step Return Codes (ACD=3)
- DJO - Output Control (ACD=2)
- DJV - Special Setups (ACD=3)
- DJI - Special Instructions/Comments (ACD=2)
- DCO - System Documentation (no updating from this application)
- DJT - Documentation Transfer (ACD=2)
These ACD values can be assigned by AIMS Account Coordinators for
those accounts having the DOC ACD assigned to it.
All applications mentioned here have universal AIMS accessibility for
all users. In addition, each is available for placement on any menu,
though placement on a menu is not required for usage.
