Migration Entry/Editing

Each request permits a maximum of 12 members to be specified. Each member has additional fields associated with the member, three of which are entry fields. Each detail entry field is edited according to the following specifications.

Member: When a member is entered, it must exist in the specified library. If not, an error message will be generated.
SCT System: This field is automatically fetched from the MGC table.
Load Proc: The load proc is valid only for Cobol and Assembly (ASMB) members. If it is entered for a member of a different language type, an error will be generated. If entered for Cobol or Assembly, the load proc will be validated using the BMP table. In addition, load procs of 204 through 314 cause the proc to be automatically extracted from the MGC table.
Documentation Changes: This field is only valid for JCL members. For other members, it will automatically be set to NO. For JCL members, it will be determined from the test documentation system.
Special Option: This field, if present, is validated using the MGO table. If a JCL proc is specified, it must have a language type of OTHER.
Another special option is compile only, option C. It will compile a program from PCP40 without needing to migrate the program. As such, the library must be PCP40, the language type must be Cobol or Assembly, and a Load Proc must be specified.
