Mail Notifications/Emergency Migrations
When an emergency migration request is entered, no email is sent to any
individual. However, when the emergency migration request is processed,
email is sent to selected addresses to inform appropriate personnel that an
emergency migration request has occurred. The addresses are:
- Individual entering the request
- Person who would normally approve the request (had it been a normal
request)
Emergency migration requests should be used sparingly and only as
needed. Emergency migration requests are tracked to prevent abuse of the
process. Should the privilege be abused, emergency migration authority
may be revoked.
