Use system defined edit masks where they exist. What follows is a list of currently defined system edit masks.

E     '999-9999'       7-Digit Telephone Number
F     '999/999-9999'   10-Digit Telephone Number
G     'Z9/99/9999'     8-Digit Date (mm/dd/ccyy)
H     'Z9/9999'        6-Digit Date (mm/ccyy) 
I     '99999-9999'     9-Digit Zip Code
J     '9-99999-9999'   10-Digit FRS Account Number
K     '99999-999'      HRS Department Number (with subcode)
L     '9-99999-999'    9-Digit FRS Account Number 
M     '9-99999'        6-Digit FRS Account Number

System defined edit masks use masks A through N. O through P are reserved from programmatic definition.
