- Abstract: In the talk, I will present an ongoing work on the hyperbolic Anderson model (HAM) with spatial dimension \(1\). The HAM is driven by a spatial-only rough Gaussian noise that is fractional with Hurst index \(-1/4 < H < 1/2\) and the equation is interpreted in the Skorohod sense. I will explain that our range of \(H\) is optimal and make a comparison to a parabolic counterpart. This talk is based on a joint work with Xiong Wang (Sun Yat-Sen University, China) and Panqiu Xia (Cardiff University, UK).
