CTSE 4040/7970, Summer 2005
You can publish
interactive GSP pages on your web site!
- Setup:
- Open Windows Explorer and navigate to C:\Program Files\Sketchpad\.
- There you will find a folder called "JSP". Copy this folder into your P: drive (public_html)
- Create the sketch you want to upload.
- Complex features will not be copied, so keep it simple!
- Length measurements will be in pixels, so you may want to add a calculated length; dividing by 38 gives approximate lengths in cm.
- Save your sketch as usual. Then "Save as..." and select the file type to be HTML/JavaSketchpad into the P: drive.
- Open the file in DreamWeaver.
- Click on the gray rectangle with the coffee cup, which is where your sketch will appear.
- Click on the Code tab at the top of the window.
- Find where is says CODEBASE="jsp" and replace "jsp" with "http://www.auburn.edu/~xxxxxx/jsp"
- You can also adjust the length and width in the next two items
- Click on the Design tab and make any other adjustments to the page, adding or deleting text.
- But be sure to maintain the copyright information!
