Tentative Schedule of Reading Assignments and Class Meetings

NOTE: These assignments and readings are to be completed on the day they are listed. For example, when you come to class on Friday, August 22, you should have read pages 1-20 in the Introduction of The World Is a Text (hereafter referred to as World) and pages 9-29 in the New Century Handbook (hereafter referred to as NCH).

Please note that these readings and assignments are tentative. We may need to make changes as the semester progresses. Any changes will be announced in class and via email. You need to check your email regularly; it is even more important that you check your email on days you miss class. Remember you are responsible for being prepared for class when you return after an absence–excused or unexcused.
