Contemplation

by David B. Swanger

Sitting
Mind wandering

Contemplating the holographic brain.
Considering thoughts of mind extra-biological
And solid state life without pain.

Cellular evolution, differentiation,
(Gene-culture co-evolution the goal),
Cortex cerebral to perceive and assess
Brain, dynamic soup in a bowl.

Time irreversible, quantum mechanics,
Magnetic monopoles, cosmic processes...
Prejudiced scientists, benevolent dieties,
Mindless nature's galactic recesses.

Grand force unification (God's contribution):
Vital life force, so say the mystics...
Virtual particles residing in nothing
Furnish the stuff for reality logistics...?

Sitting
Mind wandering.
