**Goal:** This course gives an introduction of multilinear algebra
and some research topics in the area.

- Review of Linear Algebra
- Basics of finite group representation theory
- Multilinear maps and tensor spaces
- Symmetry class of tensors
- Generalized matrix functions
- Applications and current research
