In this project, our goal is to study how to optimally schedule pilot transimissions for maximizing the throughput of wireless communications over a time-varying flat fading channel. Justin Tran worked with Md Kamran Chowdhury Shisher to design a scheduler based on a threshold policy using Gittins index theory to maximize general non-monotonic functions of throughput.
