Navigate to the Introduce Yourself on the Canvas Discussion board. Please reply to the post with the following details:

  • Who you are: Your name, major, year, and where you are from.
  • Your goals: Why you are taking this course and what you expect to learn.
  • Anything else: Fun facts, hobbies, or if you are looking for a study partner.

Question 2. Office Hours Setup

Please fill out the availability poll at TallyCal to indicate when you are free for office hours.

Note: Because this is a large class, it is difficult to find a time that works for everyone. Please check as many slots as possible.

I will announce office hours next week after the survey closes.

Question 3. Join iClicker

Please join our course on iClicker. When signing up, search for our institution under “Auburn University - Mathematics & Statistics”. The department has covered the license fee, so this should be free for you.

We will use iClicker for attendance, participation, and in-class quizzes. As a warm-up, please test the system now. Go to the Assignments tab in iClicker and complete HW 0.
