Dr. David Pascoe a Professor in Exercise Science , and serves as the director of the Thermal and Infrared Lab. Within that program, he prepares students in the skills and techniques of conducting research that focuses on exercising in the heat. One of the major components of this research is examining the ability of various textiles to shield performers from heat stress.
In 2011, Dr.
Pascoe developed and became to director of the new Gastrointestinal
Research Center. This is a collaborative effort between Kinesiology,
Veterinary Medicine, and outside researchers from other institutions.

Dr.
Pascoe is also the Assistant Director
within the School Of Kinesiology. He is primarily responsible for the daily
functioning of the new 23 million dollar facility that houses the school's
offices and labs.
