All faculty, staff, graduate students, and undergraduate students who work in a lab are requried to complete the basic Lab Safety Training each year. As a department, we schedule a training session each January during our normal seminar time. If you (or any of your students) are not able to attend this training, you are required to complete the online version of the training session. Please see the link below.
Faculty, Staff, and Graduate students are allowed to use the Department Golf Cart for work related activities provided they have completed the online Golf Cart Training and review the campus boundaries which the carts are permited in. The golf cart training does expire so it is important that each person makes a note of when their training expires and retakes the training.
Upon completing the golf cart training, please provide a print out or screen shot of your completed training to Naomi Gehling at gehlins@auburn.edu. Thank you!
All faculty have the option to work with Communications & Marketing to create a Faculty Spotlight Video. This video will be housed permanantly in the Faculty Directory for the College of Engineering. The video will also be used in rotation as a feature on the Department of Chemical Engineering's website and social media pages. Please view the Faculty Spotlight Video for Dr. Carlos Carrero below as an example.
