Welcome to my professional portfolio. I am currently on track to receive a Master of Technical and Professional Communications (MTPC) degree at Auburn University in May 2010. After graduation, I plan to pursue a career in which I can effectively use all my communication skills, such as writing and editing for specified audiences, planning and managing projects, and designing to create unified professional documents. I would like to work with technical documents, grant proposals, or promotional campaigns, for instance.

As an MTPC student, I have also served as a graduate teaching assistant in the English Department, instructing freshman composition. I have enjoyed this experience, particularly being able to translate the instructional design principles and rhetorical theories that I acquired through technical communications coursework into my own classroom strategies. Therefore, I feel the GTA has been an important part of my growth as a technical communicator.
