- Funded participants: We will book hotel rooms for funded participants at Hyatt Place Las Vegas. You don't need to book hotel room by yourself.
- Unfunded participants: You need to book a hotel room by yourself. You can stay at any hotels you want. We recommend you to stay at Hyatt Place Las Vegas for your convenience. In order to guarantee a hotel room with the group rate of USD 129 before tax, you need you need to book your room by Nov. 18th, 2021 via this link.
Breakfast: If we made the reservation for you, or you followed the above instructions to make the reservation by yourself, then breakfast should be included with your reservation at the Hyatt Place Las Vegas. However, there will also be bagels (with spreads), muffins, coffee, and tea at the conference site.
Directions: The McCarran International Airport, Las Vegas, locates only about one mile from both UNLV and the Hyatt Place Las Vegas hotel.

(Recommended) Hyatt Place Las Vegas will run shuttle bus between the hotel to airport from 4:00am
to 1:00am daily. The shuttle will leave hotel for airport on each hour at ##:00 and ##:30. After
picking up guests, it will return to hotel.
When you have picked up your luggages, give a call to the hotel front (+1 702 369 3366). Let them know your name and which terminal you are in so that the shuttle bus driver will wait for you. There are only two terminals, Terminal 1 and 3.
- You can hire Uber/Lift. Be mindful that taxi is not recommended because the driver may be unhappy or even refuse to take you for the short distance.
- You may also take Bus 108 from Terminal 1 to the hotel. One-time ticket is $2 (you need to prepare two one-dollar bills and pay at the front bus gate). Or you may purchase, over the machine at Terminal 1, 2-Hour all-access pass ($6), 24-Hour all-access pass ($8) or 3-Day all-access pass ($20).
From Haytt Place hotel to the conference room, it takes about 15 minutes walk. Here is the campus map. See also the annotated map below.
Parking:
- All vehicles parking on the UNLV campus are required to have a parking permit except at meters, or in Lot S (just off Harmon Avenue and Swenson Street, south of the track), which is a free lot.
- Parking enforcement: Monday - Thursday, 7 AM - 7 PM; Friday, 7 AM - 1 PM.
- Visitors may purchase a daily ($7.5) and weekly ($10.75) from Parking and Transportation Services that will allow them to park in student spaces only.
- Parking and Transportation Services is located in Claude I. Howard Public Safety Building (PSB, No. 41 on the campus map) beside Lied Library.
- You are recommended to leave the car at hotel and walk to the conference venues.
