The 40th Annual Southeastern Conference on Linguistics will be held in beautiful Charlottesville Virginia, April 12-14th, 2009, at the Zehmer Conference Center in the heart of the historic University of Virginia campus. Our theme this year is "Lanuage and Dialects of the American South." We welcome papers and panels which address any element of this theme.
