The Southeast Applied and Computational Math Student Workshop was held on April 5 and 6, 2025 at Auburn University. The workshop is for graduate students, postdocs, professors, and other researchers to highlight research in the field of Applied and Computational Mathematics, exchange ideas, and build collaborative networks in an informal setting. This annual workshop was initiated in 2023 and is open to the entire research community.

Important Dates
  • For contributed talk/poster presentation: register and submit your information by February 21, 2025.
  • General registration deadline: March 25, 2025.  

Support

  • Lunch will be provided on April 5, 2025 for all participants.
  • Funding is available for a limited number of graduate students, especially those who give a talk or poster presentation. At the registration, you may request for a hotel room (to be provided at the Hotel at Auburn University) and/or travel support. Note that you must register and submit your request by February 21, 2025.
  • This workshop does not reimburse hotels reserved by participants.
  • ​Travel reimbursement will be up to $200 per approved participant and can be for travel receipts for gas, non-conference provided meals, flight, parking, and/or shuttle service to Auburn University during the dates of the conference 4/04-04/06/25.
     
    NOTE: we are only able to reimburse travel costs in the event that they were first approved by the organizers. We will contact those approved with full details of the travel reimbursement arrangements.
