Dr. Sara Wolf has been an Assistant Professor in the department of Educational Foundations, Leadership, and Technology at Auburn University since the Fall semester, 2000. Dr. Wolf began her career in teaching in Dayton, Ohio in grades 4-6 Chapter 1 reading. She completed her Master's degree at Wright State University in December of 1995 with an emphasis in School Library Media. She then traveled to Tempe, AZ to complete her doctoral work at Arizona State University in the department of Educational Media and Computers (now called Educational Technology) under the direction of Dr. Tom Brush. Dr. Wolf's primary research interest is examining the effectiveness of metacognitive scaffolds in student-centered and open-ended learning environments. Specifically, Dr. Wolf is interested in how information literacy standards and problem-solving models can or should be integrated into teaching, software development, and curriculum. |
