This is the homepage for the 14th Workshop on the Physics of Dusty Plasmas organized by Wittenberg University and Auburn University. This next workshop will be held in Auburn, Alabama, USA from May 26 - 29, 2015.
The workshop will begin with an opening reception on the evening of Tuesday, May 26, 2015, followed by three full days of presentations. The meeting will close by 5 pm on Friday, May 29, 2015.
The program has now been prepared for the workshop. A summary and the complete program are available under the Program menu. Updated information about oral and poster presentations is now available.
The venue page has been updated with additional information about the conference hotel and the surrounding towns of Auburn and Opelika.
The TRAVEL menu has information about ground transportation to/from Auburn. We have also posted some updated information about Auburn there as well.
The scope of this meeting will cover all aspects of dusty / complex plasma phenomena including:
- Basic physics of dusty plasmas
- Astrophysical (e.g., lunar, solar system, heliosphere) and atmospheric dusty plasmas
- Laboratory and microgravity dusty plasma experiments
- Magnetized dusty plasmas
- Theoretical and computational studies of dusty plasmas
- Dusty plasmas as model systems
- Applications of dusty plasmas in industry and research
